Words can’t describe how great our festival was and what a great time everyone had - so I hope our photos can! A wonderful weekend at the Tyalgum Festival of Classical Music

Such a rich and full weekend of stunning performances, wonderful and friendly people as well as a visual feast! We were kept very busy trying to photograph every “nook and cranny” of the festival, as the piano tuner, Norman Appel, described it. As well, we were recording video and audio for the festival organisers, who should be congratulated for all their hard work and an amazing festival. Here are some of our favourite images - hundreds more can be viewed at the Client Galleries section of our website.

Tatiana Kolesova, the young Russian pianist with such a beautiful soul, was the headline act:

Some of the young virtuosi: Raphael Ebermann, Alison McKenzie, Ayesha Gough and Julien Rosendahl

Norman Appel, the piano and harpsichord tuner. Tania Frazer, who has been the principal oboe for Israel Opera and the Australian Chamber Orchestra.

Katherine Philp and her beautiful cello

Gareth Belling of the Queensland Ballet

David Pereira, who was kindly standing in with the Australia Ensemble @ UNSW for the festival. We hope he’ll be back next year!

Noel Stallard and Jack Drake, two of the very entertaining bush poets, as part of a fringe event held at the St. Johns Anglican Church

Two images of the Queensland Conservatorium Brass Ensemble

The Camerata of St. Johns gave us an exhilarating concert as well as some of our favourite images. To see more, please go to the client gallery section of this website
- hope you can get a taste of what this fantastic festival gave to all of us.

May Highlights

This month we had fun again with our commission to photograph the fabulous Cabaret 360 held at Uki. For us the standout performances and photographic moments were the childrens ballet with Diane Wilder and Tupenny Opera with Dave Weir and Elenor Sapir. We were so moved by young Piri that we have arranged to do a follow-up shoot with her soon.
